About Michael D. Ponce

Michael grew up in Portland, Tennessee. He has been married for over 30 years to his wife Kim and has two sons, Michael and Alex. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston. He also graduated with honors from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans.

TRUE STORY

Michael is very calm under pressure. When Michael was in college, he was a biology major and was able to participate in a special marine biology program in Hawaii. One day as he was floating in the water studying the growth of the coral reef, a hammerhead shark swam up.

Michael was surrounded by coral, which is very sharp and can cut you easily. Swimming away or climbing on the coral was not an option. Michael stayed calm and kept an eye on the shark. He waited out the shark and was unscathed when he later swam to shore.

After a terrible accident, I started out trying to support a local attorney but was frustrated with the lack of attention to my case. Once I switched over to Ponce Law things seemed to move at a more professional pace . I no longer had to make calls to check the status of my case. Very happy with my decision because my case has been settled and I am extremely satisfied with the result of an experienced lawyer versus an attorney that was newly graduated/working on pro bono cases. Brian is a straight shooter, a no nonsense attorney that does not sugar coat things and cuts right to the chase. He laid out all the facts and choices that I had, which really helped me make my decisions. This was exactly what I needed.Cheyenne made my experience very personable and she was extremely responsive. She broke down all the legal jargon and made me feel comfortable.
