Joseph Orlando, a native of Gloucester, began his academic journey at Virginia Wesleyan College, where he received a Leadership Scholarship before transferring to Endicott College. There, he earned a bachelor's degree in Law & Government, marked by a Presidential Scholarship. He pursued a Juris Doctorate at the Massachusetts School of Law, graduating in 2010 and participating actively as a representative in the Student Bar Association. Joe's early legal career included clerking at Essex County District Court and interning with the Gloucester Police Department, experiences that laid a robust foundation for his practice. Admitted to practice before several esteemed courts, including the Connecticut and Massachusetts Supreme Courts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court, Joe focuses on maritime and personal injury law, managing cases in both Federal and State Courts with dedication and diligence. Beyond his legal practice, Joe is deeply committed to his community, serving on the boards of Everyday Heroes and Gloucester Little League, while his past public service includes roles on the Gloucester City Council and Hamilton planning board. His involvement with the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys underscores his professional dedication.
