Working with Burns law was a huge mistake on my part. I hired Mike to do some legal work in early 2022. He promised the work was getting completed numerous times by phone and e-mail. He was very responsive until receiving my 5k deposit check. After that he would almost never respond to e-mails After 18 months of promises I decided to do some digging. Turned out the files I hired him to work on only 20% of the work was started after 18 months. I was forced to fire the firm. During those 18 months I had to pay taxes, insurance and interest on private loans for these properties to sit empty. I lost over 100k during this period because of It. Huge mistake on my part. Lesson learned to hire a more professional firm that will deliver on promises they make. I was forced to call his other job 2 times to make sure he was ok after ghosting me for weeks at a time.
