Robert is not your friend - he's your lawyer. Direct communication - zero drama. Honest, ethical, and efficient - he did not fee churn whatsoever. Well respected amongst his peers. My case lasted over 3 years and when it was finalized the estimates he calculated at my intial consultation were literally within a few dollars - very accurate. He protected my key interests. I Kept my home, most all of my assets, and have a fair custody arrangement that worked out well. It was worth every penny.
Direct, straight to the point, showed no interest in getting to know the client (me), felt like I was just another faceless individual who he charges $475.00 per hour for his services; pretty pricey!
Robert Holmes: 1) Highly disrespectful, uses profanity and very dismissive 2) Forgetful, passive, he does not fight for you, purely noneffective 3) Unethically he chooses to please the Judge and preserve his relationship than protecting you as a client. He allowed Judge Michael Powell (who has one of the worst ratings) in Stanly Musk Court to knowingly violate my due process and break the law. Also allowed the opposing counsel Mark David Piesner (a former producer of controlled substances with arrest record) to steal money from me through fabricated attorney billings. The wrong will not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it. He and his firm are just a push over with no strategy. Their claims on their website is just a deceiving suggestion and far from the reality that they try to portray. 4) As an attorney he failed to fulfil his fiduciary duty toward me. I paid him to protect me, and he ended up covering for the dishonest judge. This is 100% egregious and useless.
