For over fifty one years, Mr. Colman has been involved in representing over 100 healthcare providers in revenue recovery and business office consulting, assisting in creating “on-site” programs in public and private hospitals, as well as specialized insurance and third party recovery programs. George has lectured extensively and published many articles in the areas of accounts receivable, legal recoveries, and business office issues throughout the country. He is the former National Legal Counsel to the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM), past President of the Southern California Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and has served as the Chapter Liaison Representative for Region 11 of HFMA. He is also the former legal advisor to the California Association of Healthcare Admitting Managers (CAHAM). In addition, George is the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for St. Francis Medical Center, Lynwood, California and was the former Chairman of the Task Force for Chronically Homeless Patients in Los Angeles County (TFCHIP). Mr. Colman is a Member of the Advisory Group of Save LA Cougars.org to construct the Wildlife Corridor Overpass in Agoura Hills, California.
George is listed as one of Southern California’s “Super Lawyers”, and one of the top attorneys in Southern California, selected by peer recognition and professional achievement. Active in community organizations, George is a former conference attorney for the New York State Family Court, and former Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Glen Cove, New York. George received a B.A. degree from Queens College in New York, and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to both the New York and California State Bars as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal U.S. District Courts in New York and California, and the U.S. Tax Court.
Mr. Colman is married and has four children, six grandchildren, and one dog. He enjoys golf and sculpts as a hobby.
