I recently went through an unexpected and difficult time in my life. Based on my situation, I knew I needed the best to take on my case. After doing some research, I found the Law Office of Borowitz and Clark. I sat with Mr. Erik Clark a short time later, and we put together an action plan. The level of quality of work Mr. Clark and the team put into my case was impressive. They demonstrated vast experience and top-notch knowledge. Despite my case being met with many challenges, Mr. Clark was able to secure a discharge. Thank you, Borowitz and Clark, for a new beginning.
I can't say enough about this firm and Eric Clark and everyone on this team. in 2019 after already impress with their legal advice and had committed with Borowitz and Clark and making a deposit, there was an error on my part that wasn't disclosed which I wasn't aware of when filing for a Chapter 7. After finding out, I still wanted to move forward with the case but Eric kindly advised me not to. Any other firm would have not given me that advice and would just continue knowing it could jeopardize things for me. They immediately refunded my deposit. I knew then and there if I ever have the opportunity to work with this firm I would in a heartbeat. Fast forward 2 years later and the first person I called was Borwitz and Clark after getting hit with a lawsuit by my creditors. I didn't even bother looking elsewhere. We needed to move fast. Fast forward again after only 3 months of working with me I can happily say I'll be discharged in 2022. Thank you, Thank you!
I dealt with Barry Borowitz once and I felt like he was being very accusing and not on my side
easy payment terms.
He was unfamiliar with an area related to our case and stalled the completion. It was a very difficult time for us and he nor his staff were very helpful resolving the issue. We tried to find the answer on our own without success and finally just told him to file.
I filed my chapter 13 to remove the judicial liens (from credit cards) recorded. The case was discharged and I found out later that the judicial liens were not removed. And now they want to charge another $7,500 to process removal of the liens which they supposed to do while processing my case. They cost a fortune compare to other lawyers. NOT RECOMMENDED. AT ALL.
Made off with my money like a bunch of theives. Not alot either mind you which goes to show you how petty they are. It was alot to me. Made up a lie about me being rude to a employee( I have witnesses thats not true) and closed my case after I said I wasn't financially ready to move forward and he was forcing me to. He accused me of dragging my feet then realized he forgot to give me documents 11 months ago!! What kind of lawyer Blames a client and doesn't take responsibility when they realized they're 11 months late with the documentation!? I was clear from the start I would start my process when I was ready. His employees lied and he lied then they ignored my request for a refund. These are not honorable people and they appear to take advantage of those that are financially hurting. You should be judged for the awful things you do even if you do have satisfied customers. If you treat people like this you don't deserve to practice. I am preparing my report to the BAR
tldr: paid in full in April by November file had not been filed, was told that I didn't qualify for a Ch 7 and recommended a Ch 13 instead. Had to seek outside legal opinions that were contrary to what I was being told. They were unable to file my case and another firm filed within 2 days. I went in April and they reviewed my statements and disability income. Signed an agreement that stated they would start working on my file upon completion of payment. I provided updated documents and had to probe to ask for an update on the case. I had to follow up multiple times to get a response and with a list of questions about my case and would get a one-sentence response. By Sept/Oct I was told I did not meet the qualifications for a Ch 7 means test (using the same information that was provided at the initial consult). There was a major clerical error on my case. I was also given advice on a strategy that would help me qualify (including higher expenses). Upon consulting with 3 (THR
