Absolutely awful experience. Les Romo can't be trusted to control his temper in the courtroom, which resulted in a much worse agreement than normally is reached. After looking into him a little more it came to my attention he also is actively abusive and aggressive to perfect strangers on social media. This is not a man who should be licensed to practice law. The end.
I have had a similar experience as to the first comments on Mr. Romo. I found him through a work service over a year ago. He was happy to take my money as well and not render any services. I dived into work and did much of it to make it easier for him, and never got anything back from him. The work service even attempted, and there were constant excuses of reasons as why he wouldn't follow through. Needless to say, I feel your pain and would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
I was working with Les on an adoption case. Step one was getting the case moved from one county to another. That process took about 8 months (5 months longer than Les advised it would take). After that, I have not heard from Les again. I have called, emailed and texted repeatedly and have heard nothing at all from him in 5 months now. He still has a portion of the retainer I paid
Unless you like throwing good money money away, avoid him

Mr. Les Romo was happy to take our money, but not to complete any type of service. We, my husband and I, consulted him to have a Will completed so we would feel safe in knowing that if anything happened to us our son would be in good hands. The money was given for this service in July 2009 (7 months pregnant). My son is now over a year old and we have not received a Will or any documentation of any sort. Mr. Romo has now become verbally abusive to us over the phone. -Extremely disappointed!
