Scott Evans grew up in a military and law enforcement family, spending much of his childhood in Southern California before moving to Summerville, South Carolina at age twelve, where his father had previously served as an Air Force pilot. He attended the Honors College at the College of Charleston and earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 2005, graduating Summa Cum Laude as the top honor graduate in his class. Scott went on to the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2008 and ranking seventh in his class. In law school he earned the Order of the Coif and Order of the Wig and Robe, won five CALI awards, and competed in moot court, receiving the Order of the Barristers. He interned for U.S. District Judge Margaret Seymour and worked on the Graniteville train derailment and chemical spill litigation. After clerking for U.S. District Judge Terry L. Wooten (2008–2010), Scott joined Bell Legal Group, focusing on products liability, medical malpractice, and civil rights, recovering over $20 million. He was a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2014–2018) and a Super Lawyer (2019–2025), with multiple top-verdict recognitions. Scott handles trucking and auto collisions, wrongful death, malpractice, civil rights, and complex insurance coverage disputes, often turning low or zero offers into major verdicts. He lives in Georgetown with his young child and restores classic Chevrolets, especially 1959–64 Impalas.
