I was amazed to read the responses about Mr. Purdy. He took care of both of my parents deaths. The probates and their wills. He was gracious and helped me with my Fathers bills and took care of everything. He also took care of a pushy credit card company whom my Father had insurance to cover the amount he owed but they still came after me for the debt which should've been covered by the insurance. He is mine and my husbands' estate attorney and I have never had trouble with his office.
Did not return my phone call for 2 weeks.
Mr. Ring was my father's "guardian" and it was a nightmare. Stole all my father's money and did not pay the assisted living facility (also sold my father's car for $5K under blue book value). He's a scumbag of the highest order who cleaned his ex wife out during divorce and his own father doesn't even speak to him. Don't trust this man!
I was represented by Nick Ring in a juvenile criminal proceeding. He showed up for trial unprepared. He did not know the content of evidence that had been in his possession for months prior to trial. He refused to subpoena witnesses that I had instructed him to subpoena. He did not call a single witness nor present a single shred of evidence on my behalf (there was ample!). Instead, he just kept telling me that I would "not spend a day in jail". As a result of his incompetence, I was convicted.
