I have used Mr Schab for quite a few real estate transactions over the years. He is a seasoned professional, well versed in his field, and has never been less than exceptional in every way.
We are a non-profit foundation. We were listened to and well counseled with very good practical advice. Attorney Schab has a history in the community of generously helping non-profits. He knows all the players in the County.
Due to Mr. Schab's experience in real estate and his attention to details, a significant problem with a deed was resolved in time for the sell. Mr. Schab and his staff worked diligently to make this sell a successful experience and at a extremely fair price. Would highly recommend Mr. Schab and his staff for real estate matters.
In my opinion they failed in their fiduciary responsibility to the buyers to perform their title search in a reasonable time frame to avoid last minute difficulties. Instead they called the seller 22 hours before settlement and tell them to call and yell at mortgage servicing company personnel to release a loan that was recorded twice. This process takes two to four weeks. schab admitted they had seen this before, so it was not new to them, but they chose to jeopardize the settlement instead.
