Hired Attorney

We have asked for Rick to review and finalize a durable power of attorney for my parents who are elderly and in failing health. In a call yesterday where we have been waiting in excess of 3 weeks to finalize the forms (badly drawn from poor form generating software) he said in essence too bad "dying is a part of life".

Apparently he didn't know that his parents had an appointment two weeks ago and canceled. Now he can't understand why an appointment couldn't be made while I was on vacation the week after Christmas. Imagine that.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
