We accept all kinds of personal injury and malpractice cases, including cases involving wrongful death, and legal and medical malpractice cases. Although our “hub” is the Syracuse area, we represent deserving clients all over Upstate, from Buffalo to Albany, from Watertown to Binghamton, and even from Downstate. Although 95 percent of our files are personal injury and malpractice cases, we also selectively accept other types of civil litigation cases. Unlike some large personal injury firms who make their money by “milling” large numbers of injury cases, with little
personal attention to any single client (except those most seriously injured), our small firm treats each client with dignity, respect and thoughtful time-commitment. We “make our money” by striving to have each client be so satisfied with our services and with the result we achieve that they “spread the word” about us to all their friends and relatives. Most of our clients still come to us by word of mouth or from other lawyers who know and respect our work. We don’t believe in plastering our lawyer ads up on billboards across the State. Instead we believe a satisfied client is the best advertisement. When you hire our firm, you don’t hire just one lawyer. You will hire four seasoned, skilled and respected ones. Our four lawyers work as a team, meeting every two weeks to discuss as a group our cases. Some firms might consider this a waste of time. We don’t. Our experience has taught us that these “brain-storming” sessions give birth to new insights into how to most effectively advance each of our clients’ cases. Even though most personal injury cases these days are settled out of court, lawyers who are known to be champions in the courtroom are more likely to settle cases for more money. That’s because insurance companies pay more to avoid a trial where they know they might end up with a big verdict against them. That’s why our reputation as excellent trial lawyers makes our cases settle for more.
