I am the son of divorced parents. I’ve experienced separate households — for good and for bad. Through my practice, I have personally witnessed the breadth of emotions and difficulties experienced by my clients. I understand that those who come see me are dealing with one of the most difficult times in their lives.
I cnsider myself an energetic and adaptive attorney trying each day to make a difference in people’s lives. I travel up and down the Oregon coast helping clients resolve their divorces and come to child custody and parenting time arrangements that are best for their priorities and their children. I bring with me over 15 years of legal experience, including more than 5 years dedicated to family issues.
I work with people from all walks of life facing all kinds of family law challenges. I sit down with my clients to help them understand their options and create a plan to get through the hard times, putting their children, and their needs front and center in the case. I pride myself in the personal touch I bring to every one of my cases, treating my clients like family and helping them find a clear path forward for them and their families.
I consider myself extremely lucky to be married to my wife, Jen, and the father of two wonderful boys, Austin and Ryan. I was raised in California, but followed family to the Oregon north coast, and can think of no other place I would want to call home.
I received my law degree from the University of Oregon and am proud to help people in Clatsop and Tillamook counties. I am engaged with the family law sections of the American Bar Association and Oregon Bar Association. I sit on the Local Family Law Advisory Committee and am the Secretary of the Clatsop County Bar Association.
