Yuxin (Caroline) Hu, Esq. is a passionate attorney with a diverse and international background in both public and private sectors.
Before joining PMT, Caroline served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter Warshaw at the New Jersey Superior Court of Mercer County, where she managed a busy docket of over 100 motions. Her experience in drafting court orders and mediating civil disputes has sharpened her litigation and dispute resolution skills.
Building on her legal experience, Caroline gained unique insights into the intersection of technology and law through her externship at the World Bank, where she worked on legal issues related to data privacy compliance and blockchain technology. As the co-founder and legal counsel of WeProtect LLC, a New York-based startup, she advised on legal risks in business operations, deepening her understanding of the unique legal needs of small businesses. Although WeProtect LLC is no longer active, the experience provided her with valuable insights into business law and entrepreneurship.
Caroline earned her LL.B. from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, a leading Chinese law school recognized for its influence in the legal field. She went on to receive her LL.M. from Georgetown University and her J.D. from George Washington University. Her eight years of legal education across two legal systems have given her a profound understanding of jurisprudence.
In addition to her professional work, Caroline is committed to public interest causes. She has interned at non-profit organizations focusing on international human rights and women’s rights and served as a legal intern at the Mayor’s Office of the City of Atlanta.
Caroline is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and is a proud pet parent of two cats and a dog.
