Saltzman Chetkof & Rosenberg LLP was founded in 1996 by William B. Saltzman, Michael Chetkof and Lee Rosenberg. Mr. Saltzman and Mr. Chetkof have been practicing law as partners since 1972. Mr. Rosenberg began practicing law with them in 1987. The firm serves individuals and business throughout the five boroughs of the City of New York and Long Island. The firm additionally maintains of counsel relationships in the criminal law field.

Hired Law Firm

Lee Rosenberg is a very difficult attorney to deal with. He would only do what he thinks is right. My voice as a client was never heard. He would not be actively involved in my case and only be available upon request. Noting would be done without me asking numerous times. He would call back in 2-3 days. Still, my case was sitting there for 3 months while I struggled with finances and access to my child. I mentioned parental alienation but he completely shut me down. He would not even let me finish my sentence. Communication is very difficult since he would just not listen to my opinions and facts. I expected legal representation based on the law in the client's best interest. However, he only practices based on his own best interest. He made me pay for opposing parties' fees that I should never have to pay for. It was very very stressful since he worked against me as my own attorney.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
