UPDATED REVIEW 2.14.24 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WORK WITH THIS ATTORNEY! One word describes his ineffective practices...LIAR!!! I have never met anyone in my life who lies as much as this man does. My boyfriend remains incarcerated at Rikers still almost 3 years later. Went to trial against all efforts to remove this man and trial resulted in a mistrial. This man assured my boyfriend he would be released following a more then reasonable deal, he was supposed to meet with him within the week following court but made him wait 2 weeks due to what he explained as virtual visit scheduling difficulty, despite Rikers offering attorney visits 7 days a week up to 8pm and other inmates attorneys getting visits within 24-48 hours. He met with my boyfriend only to tell him that after speaking with the District Attorney and a mistrial, the best offer would be 4 years in jail after he guaranteed release for time served. This man is rude, disrespectful, lazy and unethical. Horrible Attorney!!
No good in all factors. Look at all review sites and make sure you really pay attention to which lawyer you hire. All Mr. Hardy cares about is the extra money to take things to trial, and doesn't look at physical evidence until the day of trial or might not even really look at it all. He will not come meet with you, he will not show you evidence, he will leave you out to freeze. He is so stuck on pass situations that he forgot how to be a lawyer. 2016 was his last good year or caring about being a reputable and prestigious lawyer. Do not let this man coerced you like he did to my family.
Just get another lawyer if appointed or DO NOT HIRE HIM. You have been warned. I'm not going to bash Mr. Hardy due to ethical reasons, but just take this review and run. He does more damage than good.
