If you need an attorney, please find one who is compassionate rather than waste money on those who do not care about you as a human being. It can be really devastating to hire attorneys who don’t have your back. Especially if you’re able to pay the retainer upfront but then run into difficulties during dovorce; in my case, they told me repeatedly not to worry, that they knew I would pay and to let them handle the case. After looking at the retirement funds, they suddenly demanded 7k from me and ceased all work on my case until I pay it. This ultimately led to them becoming very dishonest with me and the court, and damaging my case and character to the judge. My situation involved safety concerns with my child, which weren’t held with care by this attorney. I strongly urge anyone to reconsider business and avoid the mistake I made in hiring them.
Untrustworthy. Lack of compassion. Lack of transparency and defensive. Pursues self interest over advocacy for the client. Incompetent and ignorant pertaining to critical safety issues such as domestic violence and the safety of minor children. There’s a lack of communication between him and the working attorney on the case, which causes miscommunications that harm the client and their case. Please consider if this attorney will help or harm you. He took on my case despite lack of education around these complex situational differences, and it has harmed me and my case.
Mike only showed up to one Court date. I was charged over $2000 for an adjourned case., never did I get to see a judge. I texted him on more than one occasion no response. I had an attorney who did not communicate with me. And If I called him I was billed for it. I have proof to show my allegations. I called to ask about my balance I was told one amount and refunded a much lower amount. I do not recommend this law firm to anyone, I feel they are unprofessional and dishonest. I trusted this firm to help me with my situation, they failed me. I have become so stressed and depressed from this firm incompetence to help represent me properly.
Horrible human being and even worse as a lawyer! Takes your money and does absolutely nothing, doesn't even show up in court. This man has no compassion, no integrity, no self-respect and no empathy. He took my retainer and other advances and months later, I showed in court and he sent some colleague because he had not submitted my financial statements and documents that were due 30 days prior to court appearance. Divorce on its own is already a nightmare, go with this guy and you'll end up bankrupted, besides losing custody of your children! I hope karma gets to him and everyone in his firm!! I had to get another attorney and start all over. ITAMAR LEVY, a thief with a suit!
