BEWARE!!!! Opalewski is an absolutely terrible attorney…rude as well! He works at the 18th DC as a court-appointed. Worst defense attorney encountered. Legal incompetence, malpractice. Says he will file motions but won’t. Says he will call but doesn’t. Asked him AND his firm for discovery SIX TIMES and he refused to do so, then pressures me to take a plea, which I obviously refused, since it’s a bogus case that would be dismissed during an evidentiary hearing. Filed a motion to remove himself and did NOT notify me (7-10 days min required). Complaint will be made to the Bar. Fails fiduciary responsibility. In court, Even the judge told him of his fiduciary failure. “You shouldnt talk about that.”
