Since 1980, John Pellegrin has based his practice in Sumner County. He has tried over 200 jury trials, more than any other practicing attorney in Sumner County. Because of his extensive experience, he has been featured as a speaker at seminars for attorneys, both in Tennessee and out-of-state. Topics Mr. Pellegrin has been asked to teach to other attorneys include areas dealing with trial tactics, such as cross examination techniques, opening statements, final argument, etc. as well as various areas of substantive law. He is a past President and lifetime member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (now Tennessee Association for Justice), and a lifetime member of Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and has been a member of the Tennessee Continuing Legal Education Commission. He has received an A.V. rating from Martindale-Hubble, which is the highest rating awarded to lawyers by that rating organization. He is a former hearing officer for TN Board of Professional Responsibility, the body charged with providing ethics oversight of attorneys in Tennessee. He is a lifelong resident of Gallatin, TN.
