About The Kent Law Firm, APC

Why call me? Less than 0.2% of lawyers are Criminal Law Specialists, as accredited by the California State Bar, Board of Legal Specialization. I'M PART OF THAT 0.2%. Defending Southern California residents in trouble for over 25 years.

I don't just dabble in Criminal Law as one of several areas of practice. Criminal Law is ALL that I do. When your future, or life is on the line, you need an attorney whose sole focus is Criminal Law. That's why if you are in trouble with the law, you need to call me.

My goal, plain and simple, is to help people win their cases so they can move on with their lives. As a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law, I have handled several thousand criminal cases, including over 100 jury trials in over 25 years. I have argued before the California Supreme Court as well. My clients have included politicians, lawyers, and law enforcement officers, and I have been featured in both local and national news services.

I have an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, am a member of the NACDL, CACJ, and a co-founder of the North Orange County Bar Association. I have practiced in state and federal courts throughout California, as well as in Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Texas, West Virginia, and Washington.

Hired Attorney Jeffrey Kent

Answered all my questions during free consultation. Biggest factor is the follow through on his word which is rare. He knows the Fullerton courts “well”. Promised me he is the best possible “outcome” for my case. No guarantees as any attorney that guarantees is not trustworthy. He over delivered. He does not allow any paralegals or interns etc handle your case. He is in direct contact (extremely rare with a resume of his stature) with you. Allowed me to relax and not stress so much in this difficult time I had. This was very comforting as we know the legal process just takes a long time. Highly recommended.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
