David Scott Snellings was born in Lubbock, Texas, where his father was a Texas Tech Red Raider. At the age of three, he moved to Plano, Texas, where he attended local schools and played football for Plano East Senior High School. Initially aspiring to become a medical doctor while studying at Baylor University, an internship redirected Scott's passion towards law. He enrolled in Baylor University School of Law, where he excelled academically, joining prestigious groups such as the Baylor Law Review, Order of the Barristers, and the Abner McCall chapter of the Inns of Court. After graduating, Scott joined Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer & Kern, L.L.P. In this environment, he honed his skills in litigation, primarily defending personal injury and product defect claims.
In 2008, Scott co-founded a personal injury law firm in McKinney, Texas, shifting his focus to representing victims of moderate to catastrophic injuries and families affected by negligence. His extensive experience culminated in the formation of Snellings Law PLLC, where Scott aims to offer exceptional service to clients, ensuring they are involved in the legal process, receive necessary medical care, and feel secure with a dedicated advocate by their side.
