Dakota Mayr is an associate attorney at Pfister Family Law, where she plays a key role in handling matters across the spectrum of family law. Over the course of her practice, she has developed significant experience advocating for clients in both the courtroom and mediation.
Known for her strategic approach, tenacity, and steady presence, Dakota combines strong advocacy with genuine compassion to help clients navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions and pursue meaningful, practical results.
Dakota earned her J.D. from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Women in Law Student Society, represented her peers as Junior Representative for TYLA, and dedicated more than 300 hours to the university’s legal clinic helping indigent families access fair and equitable justice.
She received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she competed as a collegiate pole vaulter. Her experience as a student-athlete instilled resilience, discipline, and the composure under pressure, that continue to appear in her representation of clients in complex and emotionally charged family law matters.
