Seems knowledgeable about her area of practice, but doesn't listen well to the needs or desires of the client. Divorce is hard as it is, without a lawyer making it even harder by adding extra confrontation. Most often, an amicable compromise is the best solution for the family involved, even if you may have the legal "upper hand", and Barbara Gislason seemed to be more about "winning" and how much in fees that she is getting.
16 min consultation and I hung up on her. She cut me off mid conversation right away. Rude, disgusting attitude and unprofessional. How are you gonna ask me how do I know your name during our consultation? It literally says your name on your law firm and I was notified through email for our consultation appointment.... I was in utter shock to be treated in such a way, like was this real? My god, I wouldn't trust her for ANY representation at all.
She is a Super Bad Lawyer NOT a Super Lawyer I was there for some information concerning a family law case. I called before going in and was assured she could help me. Almost two hours in and out of that office, I was $300 poorer and distressed. There was no legal "consultation". It was a one-women monologue with attempt at entertaining me and almost always "not understanding" and somehow changing every statement around to mean something completely different. It was frustrating and exhausting!
