About Leah R. Cole

A local attorney with 27 years of experience and a statewide reputation, Leah graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School and earned a B.S. degree at University of Santa Clara in psychology. After trying her hand at TV journalism in Nebraska, Leah returned to Fresno to pursue her legal career and graduated with distinction from San Joaquin College of Law. While in law school, Leah clerked at local firm Baker Manock & Jensen, and ultimately joined the then firm of Cole and Fisher.

A partner in Cole Fisher Cole & O'Keefe, Leah is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law and has established a reputation and contacts throughout California, in part due to her membership in the California Applicants’ Attorney Association (CAAA), an organization of attorneys who represent those injured at work. Leah was invited to serve on CAAA’s executive committee, where she helped direct the organization’s efforts to assist injured workers.

In addition to her practice in workers’ compensation, Leah has also successfully handled hundreds of Social Security Disability and SSI appeals. Recognized as one of California’s Super Lawyers, Leah handles cases in the Central Valley, and has more recently begun accepting clients in the Santa Barbara area.

Hired Attorney Leah R. Cole

When I needed the help of an attorney I was lucky to have randomly chosen Leah Cole to represent me. She took my case with no money until a recovery was made, she saw to it that I was given the full rights entitled to and made sure the opposite parties were complying with their end. She was able to get me I think it was the 3rd largest dollar amount for my type of injury. I was always kept informed and if I knew she could represent me in my current social security issues I'd ask her to.

Hired Attorney Leah R. Cole

After my workers comp case was resolved, even though according to the contract I signed, I was supposed to continue to receive representation from Ms. Cole, pretty much, my phone calls stopped being returned, my e-mails weren't returned, and I'm left without a legal advocate. Once her office got her portion of my award, her office has pretty much ghosted me.
