This man will take your money and basically disappear. Countless times I phoned, text with no response. He agreed with defense attorney to dismiss my case without my knowledge or concent.His office personnel are not paralegals and have no accreditation as such. He took me for 7,000 including 4,500 in texting copies of a trust I delivered personally to his office, including text he never responded to. He handles over 30 different types of law and specialize's in none. "Strongly" caution anyone trusting this sorry excuse for a lawyer in being anything but what he is..he left be barren unable to afford counsel. What a way to treat a disabled veteran!
Took retainers and did nothing on cases for weeks. One case he waited nearly 3 months to file with the courts. Claimed illness or surgeries was reason For delay after asking for money back .very little communication. Hired
If I had came across all the previous statements before how he just takes money and doesn't do anything for your case, I never would've hired him.I paid a retainer fee of $2,ooo, her never filed my response paperwork in my high conflict custody case. He was hired 5months ago, all he did was show up to two hearings but never spoke with the judge, just sat looking at his phone entire time. I now believe the story about him being sick was all a shame because one these comments from another person below was same, he was sick in and out of hospital, and no one from his office ever called me to inform me that while two months went by. They kept giving run around oh we have it here waiting for you but we need more money. I told him to add a family member for witness testimony and access to my case which was very crucial, he never gave them paperwork to sign to have access let alone never emailed me it either. I would say not to hire this guy he is fraud, and he needs to be reported!!!!!
Do not hire this attorney, Brian Folland. He takes your money and you do not hear from him again. He does not return your calls or your emails.He accepts a retainer from you and he disappears. He lies. A lot. He makes up things he is going to do, nothing similar to what you need to be done. Then he drags his time . He really is a liar, not to ever be trusted. He has done nothing for my case involving a corrupt loan and refinance taken by my thirs husband, loan and refinance on my house, with a corrupt loan bank in Detroit. Hans Lammaack was not on the deed. Brian came up accusing me to have taken the loan, and he was my attorney. Brian Folland has done nothing to come up with a resolution on this corrupt loan and refinance. Brian Folland is a crook. Do not hire him for anything.All he does is take your money, a retainer, and he disappears. Hans Lamaack, my third husband, went missing on Aug 2019, and was found dead in Dec, 2019. Working with Brian Folland as a lawyer was exhausting. My file was in a paper box all scrambled up. Correct information was misinterpreted and misrepresented. Mr. Folland is good with B.S. and sports jockey jive. I lost all my money on his unprofessional antics and good buddy discussions with other attorney's and not pushing for a positive defense in my case. Your better off getting a law school student than hiring this D- attorney.
