Since its founding three decades ago, Lomurro, Munson, Comer, Brown & Schottland, LLC has provided clients in central New Jersey with outstanding service and expertise in an increasingly wide spectrum of the law. The firm's large staff of attorneys, paralegals and support personnel focuses on achieving the best possible result for both individual and business clients.
The firm's 40 attorneys devote themselves to the firm's core principles: being the best-qualified lawyers in their areas of practice, commitment to the development of the law and community involvement.
RAISING THE BAR
Twelve of the attorneys are certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as trial attorneys in civil, criminal or matrimonial law, an elite distinction which only a small percentage of the state's lawyers share. "We want the firm to be the best-credentialed firm in its areas," says founding partner Donald Lomurro. In addition to the firm's 14 certified trial attorneys, four lawyers have their LL.M., two in taxation, two in trial advocacy.
WIDE RANGE OF PRACTICE AREAS
The firm has an active litigation practice serving clients in civil and criminal cases, plaintiff's and defendant's personal injury, family law, business and employment, trusts and estates, taxation, land use and real estate matters. Its family law practice is one of the largest in Central New Jersey.
DEDICATION TO THE LAW
To further develop the practice of law, the firm's lawyers serve in leadership positions in many bar and practice area associations, including the ABA and New Jersey State Bar, as well as appointments to Supreme Court committees.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Our lawyers and staff are actively involved in the communities in which we live and work. For many years, Lomurro Davison has helped lead the way to make the communities we serve better places to live and conduct business. The Charitable Fund of Lomurro, Munson, Comer, Brown & Schottland, LLC is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) corporation that was established in 2006. The Charitable fund is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people by raising funds to directly benefit local individuals and families who are in need or who have suffered a financial or personal hardship. The Charitable Fund is also committed to supporting local, community-minded charities and non-profit corporations. This commitment includes co-sponsoring the American Cancer Society's of Monmouth and Ocean County's Relays for Life and providing major support to the Frances Foundation, dedicated to helping children with cancer. The firm views its involvement in improving the quality of justice to all as a critical component of its commitment to the community.
