Ira J. Metrick is the principle of Ira J. Metrick, Attorney at Law, LLC. The concentration of his practice is protecting consumers from debt collectors that violate the FDCPA , and defending homeowners in foreclosure actions at the trial level and for appeal.

Mr. Metrick is a member of the New Jersey Bar, and he is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for New Jersey. Mr. Metrick is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Monmouth County Bar Association and the Ocean County Bar Association. He recently received a 2019 Equal Justice Medal from Legal Services of New Jersey.

Mr. Metrick is a graduate of the Max Gardner Bankruptcy Boot Camp and the Peter Barry FDCPA Boot Camp.

Mr. Metrick recently had a published decision against a bank and law firm on behalf of a disabled veteran for claims under the FDCPA. The court required the bank and law firm to pay Mr. Metrick’s legal fees. (FLORY v. MCCABE, WEISBERG & CONWAY, LLC et al (3:18-cv-15522), New Jersey District Court)

I "Highly Recommend" Ira J. Metrick, Esq. to anyone faced with the very difficult hardship of a foreclosure (Lis Pendens) on your home or property. If you love your home and want to do everything you can to give yourself a fair and fighting chance to keep it. Then make the time to call Ira immediately. Ira will speak with you, understand the problem you are faced with and then explain to you all your options in a "very clear and understandable way". Ira goes above and beyond. Even before I retained Ira for his services he stilled treated me like a client from day one. Taking my calls, calling me back, meeting with me, educating me on the foreclosure process and letting me know at what point I would need to retain him in the foreclosure process to give myself a fighting chance to keep my home. I was also very impressed on how professional Ira is and how he did not look to rush me into anything. I say this truly from the heart "Ira you're the Best, Thank You for All You have done for me"

A glorified process server. Check his LinkedIn and notice the large career gap, wish I had. For a large retainer, he'll let you know how incredibly knowledgeable he is, fill out the paperwork and that's it. No follow up, no flexibility, no ability to communicate. But, extremely good at blaming others
