I had a very mixed experience working with Mr. Chehanske. Possibly partly related to the pandemic situation? Communication with him was not good - weeks would pass and I would not hear from him regarding my divorce case. For example, I initially had a default hearing scheduled for July 1, 2020. I did not know the hearing was postponed until two weeks prior to July 1 when I contacted him for guidance at that hearing. He seemed to forget to tell me that the hearing was postponed. Also, several times, he would contact me for information that I had previously provided to him. He seemed to have a problem accessing his record retention system. I was afraid I was being doubly charged for having to repeat information to him.
