If you care about what happens with your life immediately fire this women and do not move forward with her! My fiancé was appointed her by the courts as a probono and she did absolutely nothing! This women never answered the phone, the entire turn he had her which was 6+ months he never spoke to her! She showed up to court ONE TIME and was shitty unprepared and out right disrespectful! He’s been to court 4 times now and all 4 times the case got continued because she didn’t want to do her job. Her legal aid answers for her and even then you can’t get her on the phone! Everyone in this office is lazy and doesn’t want to do there job down to the receptionist. She waited until his 4 th continued court hearing to tell the courts it was a conflict. The only conflict was her not being prepared,not meeting with her client prior to court. Not doing her job! He got violated and was in jail for not showing up to pretrial twice!
There is nothing good I can say about this attorney I had been appointed her by the courts because the public defender had a conflict of interest at the very first hearing instead of going before the grand jury she submitted a letter didn't tell me no explanation later on I go to find out she had passed me off to her now former associate Tamika Casey who had no experience whatsoever in the field of criminal law one day her associate was over 2 hours late to the hearing however Ms Coleman herself was in the courtroom and when the judge asked her if she wanted to handle the case she said no saying that she had no knowledge of it and continued to make the judge wait well she was in court she stepped outside at least eight times to smoke a cigarette while she was not doing that she was playing on her phone and not looking at cases this attorney has ruined several innocent people's lives stay away beware do not hire this firm I would highly recommend going with Jason Pelt
