I am a single dad that hired Mrs. McLeod to modify my custody arrangement so that I could see my kids more and I ended up winning full physical and legal custody of my kids. She really cared about my kids and about me and she fought for me like she did. I simply don't have the words to express my joy in this outcome so I say to her again, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" This has changed my life and I am thankful God brought me to Gwen.

Gwen's experience and tenacious negotiating skills played a critical role in securing an equitable settlement to my case. She works hard to defend her client but isn't afraid to tell it like it is. I felt that I could trust Gwen completely and her associate Karen Yeager also did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to use her services again although I hope I don't have to! :-)

I reached out to this attorney based on recommendations to work with a Frederick-based lawyer for my divorce, particularly given the financial disparity between my former spouse and me. During our initial consultations and for months afterward, I was assured that pursuing perpetual alimony was a realistic outcome based on my situation. I felt strung along because she assured me that my spouse would pay all attorney's fees including her own. However, the final result was disappointing as I did not receive any alimony at all, and I felt pressured to agree to a lump-sum settlement. My spouse didn't even pay the legal bills as she promised. This was not the outcome I had been led to expect.

Prospective clients should ask how a litigation strategy impacts net financial outcomes. In my case, rejecting a negotiated buyout when the home was valued at $370k led to an eventual sale at $285k, with substantially lower net proceeds after fees and payoff. And, of course, the stress of a hearing. Procedural success does not always equal financial success.

This atto should be sanctioned for unethical practices and lack of professional responsibilities. Lied and manipulated on motions for his client, committing perjury. Failed to file a dismissal of a case against a Defendant after his client settled.

Beware of Tom Weschler. His actions demonstrate a reckless disregard for the safety and well-being of children, which is alarming given the influence and power he wields in his profession. This is not someone who can be trusted to act responsibly or ethically, especially in matters that demand care and accountability. If you value integrity and the protection of vulnerable individuals, look elsewhere. Entrusting him with any case involving the welfare of others could have dangerous consequences.
