- Mr. Schiszik has lectured extensively in the U.S. and Canada to mental health professionals, lawyers and Judges on a wide variety of family law issues. He has trained attorneys for children throughout Maryland and has taught on many occasions to the Maryland Judicial Institute on "Child Focused Decision-Making" and other "kid topics." He has presented with Children of Separation and Divorce Center (now the National Family Resiliency Center) at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Seattle, as well as in Ottawa, Canada; also at the Annual Meeting of the National Council of Family and Juvenile Court Judges in Minneapolis and at their Eastern Training session in Charlotte, N.C.
- Keith was honored in November, 2003 by Frederick Magazine as one of 5 "Big Lawyers - Big Hearts" for his service to the community.
- He has served as an officer and Board Member of Families Plus! in Frederick for almost a decade as well as on the governing board of the State Bar Family Law Committee for 20 years.
