Nicole is an associate with the firm’s Nashville office. Her practice focuses on the defense of hospitals, medical groups, clinics, physicians, practitioners, nursing homes, fertility clinics, and other health care providers in all phases of health care liability cases in Tennessee. In addition to jury trials, she has handled mediation and arbitration proceedings. Nicole has also drafted appellate arguments in defense of health care providers in both the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Nicole also has prior experience in general insurance defense litigation defending personal injury, premise liability, construction law, and wrongful death claims, as well as coverage disputes. She has tried cases to verdict, including a jury trial involving catastrophic injuries. She has also drafted and presented dozens of petitions for settlement claims of minors in courts throughout Tennessee, and has worked with EEOC in defense of wrongful termination claims. Whatever the case may be, Nicole prioritizes client communication and strategic, innovative case work-ups in order to obtain clients the best possible results.
