With more than 40 years’ experience, Bob West has become known as a problem-solver and a deal closer. He particularly enjoys using his experience to help clients effectively resolve unexpected problems that arise on pending transactions. Bob loves dealing with people, and he appreciates that Whitaker Chalk is a confederation of lawyers who are always ready to collaborate and share in their specific expertise.
Bob has extensive experience in business, real estate, and oil and gas transactions, as well as general representation of businesses, partnerships, water districts and non-profit entities in transactions and litigation. He has served as lead attorney for borrowers on multi-state secured loan transactions. He also serves as general legal counsel for municipal utility districts and property owner associations. He also has handled civil litigation and mediation on business and real estate disputes, including serving as lead attorney on trials in state and federal courts.
