About Mr. J. Warren St. John

My family has proudly practiced law in Texas since 1896. My great-grandfather, James C. Wilson, was a United States District Judge in the Northern District of Texas for 32 years. My grandfather and uncles were also attorneys. My brother practices law in Houston.

With an undergraduate degree in criminal justice, I have a different perspective regarding police investigations and their ability to get the “facts” right. I know where to find faults in their investigations, which ultimately aids me in the representation of my clients.

With over 30+ years of experience in criminal defense, I know how to get the best result for my client.

My practice is limited to criminal defense in both state and federal court. I am committed to zealous representation of my clients in all cases. I have tried many complex cases in both United States District Court and State court. My work ethic for my clients is second to none. As the past president of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCCDLA), I am deeply involved in bar activities locally and statewide.

My practice is statewide, and I have tried many cases outside of Tarrant County. I have an excellent working relationship with the judiciary across the State. This legal team is the best in Tarrant county, After my case and during my probation, I came across serious issues with my probation contract, his professional team, took it back to court and contested it on my behalf, they are very understanding and caring, saint johns receptionist, is extremely knowledgeable and caring, when you speak to her, she I almost as knowledgeable as an attorney herself. The best part is she cares, sometimes I will call just to check on update on case and vent, and she gives me a listening ear, although they are busy.

If you want a hardworking attorney who will be completely transparent with you about your case and what he’s able to do, look no further! He was upfront with me since day one and went above and beyond my expectations. His legal assistant Holly Frane was welcoming every time we spoke and never made me feel unimportant or forgotten. God bless everyone at the firm! Hiring Mr St John was hands down the best decision I could have made and I owe my freedom and my rehabilitation all to him! Broken tibial plateau and all he still managed to chase down my judge and the DA to keep me on the streets. Can’t speak his praises enough

Hired Attorney Mr. J. Warren St. John

My family hired Mr. Warren for me while I was in jail still. Some people in there recommended him. He worked out great. My Possession charge was reduced which helped my Probation Violation charge and so ultimatley my sentence was reduced as well. It took a while but he kept telling me to be patient. And it worked out well.

My family hired Mr. St. John to help represent me in my criminal case in Tarrant County. He came highly recommended by some people I met in jail. He did not diasppoint.
