I would NOT recommend. The “ball was dropped” too many times to count in my case. I had to hire another attorney to correct a mistake in my decree that could have cost me the only asset in the case. I paid 4 times what my ex paid and I am still undoing the damage this law firm caused.
Only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give ZERO stars. Stay away from this lawyer & her lawfirm! They are liars, crooks, thieves & incompetent. She basically charged me well over $10,000 to do absolutely NOTHING in my case. She caved into almost everything the opposing party wanted I was the one whom had to fight it all and keep saying NO and that I was willing to go to jury trail etc. I was charged over and over for mess ups in my cases from the beginning that was the faults of her and her legal assistant. She never showed up to court on time and when she did show up she was in the halls with other attorneys/court people talking about her personal problems. She cares nothing about her clients only about taking their money for her shitty services. Please don’t get robbed out of thousands of dollars like I did. At the end I had to hire another attorney only to find out my case was DISMISSED and Cathy was still trying to email me 10 day final notices from the opposing counsel.
Catherine (Cat) Borum is by far the worst attorney I have ever had the displeasure of associating with. I hired her to help with my divorce and she was completely uninterested or uninvolved. Catherine (Cat) Borum will double bill you by requesting the same documents over and over and then show up without those documents to hearings and meetings. Cat will not return phone calls and will miss multiple meetings with nothing but excuses. I had multiple requests that were non negotiable and more than reasonable to which Cat lied and promised to respect. She would then leave me hanging and ignore my requests completely. When I would ask why she caved she would make up lies about her office staff missing the assignment. If you need Cat to protect your assets and your property she WILL NOT be a loyal representation. Cat does this for the money only. Cat will cave in to EVERY SINGLE request opposing counsel offers without any fight or vigor. Cat doesnt care bout her clients!!!!!
