Caryn E. Garton joined Chrzan Law in May of 2021. Caryn’s general focus is on family matters and criminal defense. Caryn has been practicing in this capacity in Fort Wayne, Indiana since took her oath as an attorney in October of 2017.

Caryn earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, where she majored in Theater and Philosophy with a minor in Spanish. Caryn went on to graduate from Notre Dame Law School in May of 2017. Caryn understands that family and criminal matters can be sensitive, stressful, and emotionally draining. That is why she is dedicated to helping her clients obtain the best possible results while being sensitive to their individual needs. Caryn is competitive by nature and, as a result, enjoys playing sports and games in her free time and is always ready for a challenge.

Hired Attorney

Caryn was recommended to me by a couple different people for my divorce. She did not disappoint. My divorce was very complex and lengthy and Caryn was there every step of the way. She goes above and beyond and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Caryn and her team communicate and respond promptly. I’m thankful to have found such an amazing attorney that was compassionate and walked through everything with me. Caryn is hands down the best and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to be there every step of the way and that goes the extra mile. Caryn, thank you for everything!

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
