Annie was honest to a fault. She told me up front that she didn't think I had much of a chance, but when I said at least the complaint would become a part of the court record to be used later if necessary, she agreed to accept me as a client. The first thing I noted, was that she listened to my concerns without interrupting me all of the time like other attorneys I had spoken to, who couldn't keep their yaps shut. Annie listened, presented the case and won. Nuff said!!
Hired Ms. Powell to represent me in my custody/divorce case in Aug or Sept 1997. Ended up firing her due to her lack of communication and responsiveness. As well as her being contradictory in what she stated. It has just recently come to my attention, that on top of all the unprofessionalism, she was also co-negligent in drawing up, submitting and filing an order from the judge to divide assets awarded. To this day, it still has not been done and has been a mental, emotional, as well as a financial burden.
TERRIBLE - I wouldn't hire her for my dog.
