I have been practicing civil law in the Fort Myers area for over 30 years (licensed since 1982). My practice focuses in the areas of real estate, association law, construction, business, probate and civil litigation.

I have been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate since 1996 and in August 2013 I became Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Business Litigation. In addition, in January 2014 I received the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale Hubbell.

I am highly experienced in both bench and jury trials; however, my preference is to settle a case whenever possible. I have a busy staff consisting of two legal assistants who each have an area of expertise. My staff and I are always accessible and try very hard to keep our clients happy, often under expedited and difficult circumstances.

Hired Attorney Thomas M. Dryden

Mr Dryden assisted my elderly mother in defending her against a harassing type lawsuit and he brought it to a favorable conclusion for her. He was prompt,honest and straightforward in his representation. I have referred numerous people to him in my line of work and I highly recommend him.

Hired Law Firm

My husband and I hired another attorney to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy, which the other attorney failed to do and as a result our house was foreclosed on. It was sold on the courthouse steps.We then hired Thomas Dryden, who basically performed a miracle and got our house back. To us he was worth every penny we payed him because we had lost everything we had worked for our whole lives. I can't say where we would be today if it wasn't for Thomas Dryden. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
