I am the Plaintiff, brought against the Construction Official in the Borough of Leonia. The Defendant is represented by two attorneys; Ms. Renee McCaskey and Mr. Brian Chewcaskie. The two attorneys proposed a settlement where they would make a quick resolution to the construction code violation at my other rental property in Leonia, in exchange for my withdrawal of lawsuit. Such conduct can be seen as seeking to benefit the Defendant and the Borough by settling the pending lawsuit without "financial compensation" to me, but rather through a simple "documentation action" by a public official. The two attorneys obviously behaved as if they own the Borough and freely manipulate official acts at will, which is a crime. They exploited their position of influence for themselves and others to induce official act - Abuse of Government Power/Bribery/Breach of Ethical Obligations. The lack of legal knowledge and absence of ethics demonstrated by these attorneys are speechless.
