Vanessa represented me in my prenup. She was always busy and tough to get a hold of. Her drafting was poor and two paragraphs completely contradicted each other. Opposing counsel was also challenging. Ultimately, my fiance and I drafted comments to the side of the document to solve the many open items on the prenup. Opposing counsel refused to draft and Vanessa also refused to draft. She offered to review any legal language i wanted to propose. We had prepaid both lawyers and had no leverage. So both got fired and neither refunded any portion of their prepaid fees. We hired new counsel who looked at the prior drafts and our comments. The new lawyer drafted one time and the other new lawyer made one small change and it was done. I am retired but during my career I worked with many, many hundreds of lawyers. This was one of the worst legal experiences of my life
