I interviewed several attorneys before retaining Mr.Brown. I chose Mr.Brown because he responded immediate and showed great communication. As soon as I paid Mr.Brown in full, he never communicated again. I have proof of dozens of phone calls & emails sent to Mr. Brown without acknowledgement or response. After months of being ignored & his failure to file court documents on time- putting me in default, I was forced to hire another attorney to clean up and finish the matter. Mr.Brown comes across as caring and attentive but, in my experience, as soon as he got paid, he failed to complete his end of the agreement by properly representing me in the court of law. I did bring my grievance to the Florida Bar, who didn't want to give a fellow attorney a formal discipline, so he was given a letter of advice for better conduct & this letter will be erased from his record in 2021. I feel compelled to let future prospective clients know of this behavior and how I was mistreated. Buyer beware.
Unreliable. Misappropriated our closing funds. We hired him and paid his title company for the closing of a property. He never paid any of the money to seller, or the liens to the city. Supreme court case showed many, many victims. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM, but he is also not allowed to practice law anymore. He received an emergency suspension!
