Crane A Johnstone is UN-TRUSTWORTHY!! I was a friend of Crane's for 57 years; he was my lifelong best friend. My Atty, Business partner and close friend of 30yrs referred a close friend's case to Crane who brought in his co-counsel Lisa Levine. The standard referral fee in Florida today is customarily 25%. Instead of Crane agreeing to pay what was to be $90k, he instructed Lisa to only pay $25k with an embarrassing, feeble excuse that he doesn't pay referral fees. Crane and Lisa Levine also proceeded to gouge my friend, the client that was referred to them for a 40% contingency fee (case never went to trial) and screwed him out of $90k. Needless to say, "With friends like this who needs enemies"! Warning to all potential clients or Atty's, these two are as unethical as it gets and absolutely CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR RESUMES!!
If you want a vacated multi million dollar verdict and your life destroyed by an attorney hated by judges in S Florida then crane is your man. I don’t know what kind of competent lawyer is more incompetent than this one who has a very long track record of losing clients millions, disliked strongly by the SFL legal community and is notorious for destroying clients lives.

This lawyer most certainly does NOT belong in any trial court setting. His arrogance, unprofessional conduct towards defendants, judges and juries is a repetitive pattern that ruins plaintiffs lives without any care or concern whatsoever. He does not come prepared for trials, leaves the courtroom in the middle of trials causing juries to have a very bad opinion of him. This lawyer thinks his time is more valuable than others including judges who have excoriated him for his conduct and behavior. It’s understandable why he has complaints against him with the bar.
I had the worst experience with this lawyer he never would answer his phone when I need him and he would never be on time for important meetings. Do not waste your money with this lawyer
