Mr. Diaz is an Associate who focuses his practice on construction litigation. He represents property owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and design professionals in a wide range of construction-related disputes, including construction defect claims, lien disputes, and contract matters. He also has experience advising clients on property-related issues, including lease and contract matters.
Mr. Diaz has handled cases from inception through resolution, with experience in all phases of litigation, including motion practice, mediation, and arbitration. He has successfully resolved numerous matters through settlement, helping clients achieve efficient and practical outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Diaz practiced at a large defense firm where he focused on construction litigation in an insurance defense setting.
Mr. Diaz earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Miami.
Mr. Diaz is admitted to practice in Florida and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
