Craig R. Miles has been practicing intellectual property law since 1999 and founded CR MILES P.C. in 2003 to focus on domestic and international patent, trademark, and copyright law. Over his career, he has successfully prepared, filed, and prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and internationally through the Patent Cooperation Treaty and Paris Convention. Prior to his legal career, Craig was a research scientist in biomolecular sciences, specializing in the molecular understanding of cellular function. He co-founded Cytel Corporation in La Jolla, California, where he developed methods for assessing molecular recognition and regulation. As an Assistant Professor at Colorado State University, he directed facilities for peptide, protein, and nucleic acid synthesis and analysis. Craig’s extensive scientific background informs his legal practice, enabling him to provide exceptional counsel in intellectual property matters. He is a member of the American, Federal, Colorado, and Montana Bar Associations.
