I can not recommend Ms. Kling for private divorce mediation. Tho/ she started out okay, she soon began lapsing into utterly unprofessional behavior. For one, she clearly sided with my ex, the cool charmer that my ex is. In addition, several times she hurried me to make decisions, condescended to me, or flat-out insulted me for just sticking up for myself (I, the much lower-earning spouse). She even suggested to my ex something that my ex NEVER would've thought of, wh/ cost me tens of thousands of dollars that my lawyer said absolutely belonged to me. In fact, I called my lawyer after each session & told him verbatim things she said. Initially, he said it was hard to believe she'd side with my ex bec he hadn't witnessed her taking sides in any of the mediations he'd been involved in, but by the end, he said, "I want you to know that I will never recommend Celeste again for private mediation services," implying that he didn't trust her to be fair when lawyers weren't present. Justice!

I cant imagine a less competent person in a position as a mediator. There was nothing good or positive about my experience with Celeste Kling. First of all, make sure you can get everything negotiated on her timeline. This seemed to be very important to her as she mentioned several times to me that she had other appointments scheduled that day. You know because the months and months of trying to come to an understanding with your spouse ultimately can be figured out in a two hour window. Magically, Just like that. She literally yelled at me and slammed the door of an office as she stomped away like a petulant child. I turned to my lawyer and said "well, thats about the most unprofessional thing Ive ever effing seen". And it still is. The reason she acted out towards me was because I was negotiating something that she ended up admitting she had entirely no understanding of. I forget what I had to pay for her useless service but a nickel would be too much. Do not hire!
