Hired Attorney

Mr. Burton came recommended to our family by a friend/colleague with extensive trial experience, which Cynthia does not give recommendations lightly --- only to the very best of her students. Burton assisted our son with establishing paternity, custody, and visitation with his child. At the end of the day, Burton counseled our son in the best interests of his child and situation. Both parties walked away satisfied and ready to co-parent for the sake of their child. All anyone can ask for when going to court is the right to be heard, represented fairly, and justice served in the interest of all parties. Thank you, Mr. Burton, for a job well done. We feel blessed to have had you as our champion in court.

Hired Attorney

I concur with the negative reviews. Initially this firm had high ratings but after everything was done, the only thing that happened was consistent billing of no actual work being performed: --wouldn’t return calls, -- wouldn’t read court correspondence with actionable items being requested -- never filed for discovery -- didn’t proofread any documentation requiring clients signature; if corrections to documents are returned, he would never correct them & duplicated errored documents would be sent to you again at later date with the exact same errors. -- He will sympathize and agree to proceeding in the way you want a case to go and then after he gets your money…he proceeds as he wants w/o your consent. -- He’s a “settlement” lawyer. He wants the easiest way to settle your case against your wishes & behind your back. -- I don’t know when this lawyer stopped being great but I would urge you to look elsewhere for counsel and pay more for quality service that everyone is entitled too.
