Adam Lowell Shapiro, the founder of Adam L. Shapiro & Associates, P.C., has more than 25 years of experience in civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Born in Utopia, NY, he graduated with honors from Jamaica High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Philosophy and Criminal Justice from SUNY Albany in 1990. Mr. Shapiro obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1993, where he gained valuable legal experience as a law clerk and Certified Legal Intern.Mr. Shapiro is licensed to practice in New York, Florida, and several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He began his career in criminal defense before transitioning to insurance and corporate litigation, representing institutional clients such as Lloyd’s of London and Harley Davidson. In 2000, he founded his firm, Adam L. Shapiro & Associates, P.C., focusing on personal injury, corporate law, and high-profile litigation.With his extensive background on both sides of litigation, Mr. Shapiro is uniquely equipped to anticipate his adversaries' strategies.
