I have both Ballenger's at this firm and have had great result with them.
Kevin Barth initiated a foreclosure proceeding on a mortgage which I owned. Literally minutes before a court hearing held to decide whether the foreclosure could proceed, Mr. Barth suddenly announced, out of the blue, that I would not be able to foreclose after all. "What? Why?," I wondered. He explained that when the payments were added up, the amount the borrowers were *supposed* to have paid was exceeded by the amount they *actually* paid, by the sum of $81! In other words, the borrowers owed me x, they paid me x + 81, Mr. Barth initiates foreclosure proceedings, then tells me there is now nothing I can do, since the borrowers are not in fact behind on their payments. I couldn't foreclosure on the mortgage after all. During the initial consultation, he was given the mortgage note as well as the mortgage itself with the scheduled payment amount listed, as well as a ledger showing a comprehensive payment history. I would give this individual zero stars if I could.
