Renny W. Deese is unquestionable the best divorce lawyer in southeastern North Carolina. Every lawyer who knows him will tell you that. He also is just a great guy with a firm grounding in the U.S. Constitution and a love for fairness and freedom of the individual. I am lucky to have met this man and to have known him for many years. He has won cases few lawyers would consider taking, and he has set an incredibly high standard of excellence for serving his clients.
I was greatly disappoint in Deese services. He was my legal counsel and I wanted to protect my rights as a father. He just took me through the process to get me out of the way. He didn't fight for my rights. He and my son mom attorney making deal that work more in her favor. a father should be able to contact there child at anytime within reasonable hours. Reese and her lawyer agreed on 2 times a week during pre-custody hearing. After the pre-custody trial I had to let him go. Be careful folks.
James Nance acted so incompetently in handling my good case for employment discrimination that the case was destroyed. I can provide great detail about this. In addition, he tried to get me to sign an affidavit he had written that he knew was not truthful. Of course, I refused.
Based on ratings from this report, I contacted this firm & Mrs. V. Hardin to represent me in my divorce. I wanted a simple separation agreement drafted which required a $1500 retainer. Negotiation with my Ex became confrontational & I was advised to go to court which required an additional $3500 retainer. We never went to court, the separation agreement was signed but none of my retainer was refunded. I was told that was their policy. I sent a certified letter to all parties -NO RESPONSE!
