Hired Attorney

I would not recommend. A female attorney returned my voice message on a holiday to talk about the potential case and it was the worst conversation with a female attorney I've ever had in my entire life. Everytime I began talking, she began talking, and it was to counter what she believed were assumptions about what she thought was going on. I corrected her each time, she quieted down, I'd pick up where I left off at and not 4 words could get out before she'd interrupt. It was excruciating and the judgement increased with intensity as the call progressed. At the beginning of the call she indicated she could help but towards the end she said she wouldn't and she didn't even have half of the story because she wouldn't shut up and listen. She was extremely unprofessional, she kept trying to tell me what to do, a total Karen. When she said she wouldn't help, I indicated I'd have to file a complaint to the state bar for lying. It was agonizing. I strongly urge all to avoid at all costs.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
